food inc day 3
we finished watching the movie food inc today. it showed how all the people who used to be top officials were now leading government agencies that helped pass laws in favor of the big food businesses. i cant believe that the agencies where so one sided and trying to help the big businesses pass laws that only helped them. its really nasty how dirty and unclean the buildings are and how they treat the workers, just to save money. also, the guy who cleaned seeds was being sued because the company said he was incuraging farmers to clean and store seed, which they dont allow them to. i dont see how they can sue him, he really didnt do anything wrong. i think its a bunch a crap and should be thrown out by the judge.

food inc day 2
we continued to watch the movie food inc today. it talked about how corn is used in almost everything that we eat, that in some way shape or form, there is always corn in our food. it also talked about how cows are fed corn even though when they eat it, they can get ecoli. i dont understand why they feed the cows corn just to save a few bucks, its ridiculous and stupid. they should be feeding the cows what they were meant to eat, grass. then they went to a farm where the farmer does all of his own harvesting and killing/cleaning. he talked about how even though they do all there cleaning outside, they have almost 1000% less amount of bacteria on there food. i think that thats amazing how they can do all there work outside and have almost no bacteria on the food. that just shows how nasty it is inside one of those factories.

food inc day 1
today we started to watch the movie food inc. its about the food industry and how bad they prep their food. i think it is gross the way they handle the food. they showed how chickens were raised and killed. the houses where their were raised were disgusting and filthy, there was poop and dead birds everywhere. one lady let the cameras into her house to see how nasty the living conditions were for the birds. after seeing that, it kind of made me not want to eat it anymore. they also talkied about ecoli and how many cases there were. one kid died from it and now his moom is trying to pass kevins law, that says the factories need to be cleaner and more sanitary. it was really sad how the little boy got the disease and died in only 12 days. that must be really hard on a family.
